RevitaLash Cosmetics, renowned for its lash, brow, and hair beauty products, has marked a significant milestone by donating over $9 million towards breast cancer research and patient care since 2008. The global beauty brand, which remains committed to the cause year-round, has deepened its efforts during Breast Cancer Awareness Month through its Eternally Pink® pledge, continuing to fund innovative research and offer critical patient support.
The brand’s dedication to the breast cancer fight stems from its founding story. RevitaLash was created in honour of Gayle Brinkenhoff, the company’s late co-founder, who fought breast cancer with immense courage. This personal connection has driven the company’s mission, turning every product sold into a source of funding for life-saving cancer research and treatment programmes.
Global Impact Through Partnerships
RevitaLash has supported various global initiatives, ranging from patient care services and nursing education to research grants. It has partnered with major institutions such as City of Hope, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Future Dreams UK, as well as several international cancer organisations.
Dariel Sidney, Vice President of Global Philanthropy at RevitaLash and daughter of Gayle Brinkenhoff, expressed the brand’s gratitude to its customers for enabling their continued support. “We are incredibly proud to have reached the milestone of over $9 million committed to the fight against breast cancer,” she said. “Thanks to our customers’ purchases, we can help fund life-changing initiatives and support those facing the difficulties of cancer. Together, we are helping to bring the world closer to finding a cure.”
Philanthropy Beyond Pink Packaging
Earlier this year, RevitaLash phased out its annual Global Pink packaging initiative, a move that resulted in a 30% production cost saving. These funds were reinvested into the company’s global giving budget, enabling even more meaningful contributions to cancer care programmes.
In addition, the company has continued its “365” matching initiative, which involves working with international partners to align with local breast cancer organisations. So far this year, nearly 10 of RevitaLash’s international distributors have joined this effort, creating new partnerships with cancer care institutions. One of these partnerships is with the Institute Rafael in Paris, which offers comprehensive post-cancer care to patients and their families.
RevitaLash’s philanthropic efforts have not gone unnoticed, earning recognition from the White House for the second consecutive year. The brand was praised for its work in improving cancer treatment and access to healthcare in Sub-Saharan Africa, further underscoring its global commitment to fighting the disease.
Year-Round Commitment
RevitaLash’s “Eternally Pink” pledge is not limited to Breast Cancer Awareness Month but continues throughout the year. Every product sold features the iconic pink ribbon, symbolising the brand’s dedication to raising funds for research and patient care.
The company’s ongoing efforts in the beauty industry have positioned it as a philanthropic leader, showing that beauty can indeed be a force for good.
